Recap of this successful weekend:
1. I started Caroline's tedious summer haircut.
It will probably take me another two days or so to finish.
Her bellbottoms are no more.
2. Sat in hammocks for majority of the weekend.
3. Made a creamy roasted jalapeno and garlic salsa.
4. Took a 4 hour bath in the "hot tub" at Hotel St. Cecilia,
then walked home.
5. Sampled and learned some amazing things about wild herbs
on my herb walk with Ginger.
Below is "Lambs Quarters", which is a true fairy plant.
They produce a pink powder that can be used as body paint.
It can also be cooked like spinach
and apparently tastes even better.
6. Bought a beautiful new bag at an estate sale, $3.
