DECORATING

As I am getting ready for the move, decorating inspiration boards are in order. Here are a few of the inspiring spaces I've come across.

NEW STUFF

WEEKEND

On my long list of things to do this weekend, this one comes first. I have to go see this new installation by Knitta Please at the Capitol. Knitta Please is the brainchild of Magda Sayeg. What's better than knitted graffiti?

MUSIC

Yesterday, I may have made the best decision of my entire life. My friends and I bought tickets to the Railroad Revival show at El Cosmico in Marfa, TX. The tickets include 2 nights camping and live recording of the show. April 24th cannot come fast enough. I’ll definitely be purchasing the screenprinted poster as well.

If you aren't familiar with El Cosmico Hotel, definitely check out their website. They have created lodging comprised of yurts, tepees, and trailer homes. It think it's a wonderful idea. I wish I had thought of it first. The two that opened the hotel in Marfa also own Hotel San Jose and Hotel St Cecilia here in Austin. All of the hotels are true strokes of genius.

HANDMADE

If you love buying all things handmade, check out this new daily deals site called Quite Unique. They've got really awesome handmade products at discounted prices. Here are some past deals...

ADVERTISING

Some people are just born with a knack for advertising. As you all know, I love the Movember Campaign as it is, but my mom sent one of their advertising campaign and I just had to share. I never meant for this to be a mustache blog, but it seems to be one of my most talked about topics. I can't help it, forgive me.

Okay so... If for some reason you come looking for me and you can't find me, I'll most like be on my way to find this place.
